A New Access Softek Webinar Series on Mobile Banking

February 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EST

Berkeley, CA – Access Softek announces the first webinar series for banks and credit unions on the most exciting new trend in online services: mobile banking.

With over 50 million users, online banking has been a revolution in the financial industry. The next step in this revolution is offering the same online services from a cell phone. Announcements from Bank of America, Citibank and Wachovia prove this trend has moved beyond the stages of “hot concept” and “technology evaluation” to “early rollout”. To avoid the falling behind the technology race, now is the time for all FIs to plan how mobile banking will be implemented as a critical part of their online services.

The available webinars are:

1. “Technologies and Trends in Mobile Banking”
2. “FFIEC Multi-Factor Security Requirements and Mobile Banking”
3. “Mobile Banking - A Product Demonstration of Mobile Finance Manager (MFM)”
4. “Online Resource FIs: Mobile Banking and Payments”
5. “Tips and tricks for rolling out technology applications to consumers”

“If done right, mobile banking will quickly become an essential service offered by all FIs” said Chris Doner, Access Softek CEO.

Online Resources (ORCC) will be providing a guest speaker, David Benning, VP Strategic Integration, to address the implementation issues for ORCC customers.

The webinar reviews trends in mobile banking, security considerations and the FFIEC requirements for MFA, how to support it, how it impacts an FI and the FI customers. “It’s an information packed one hour webinar. It saves FIs a lot of research time,” observed Doner.
